Jeez, I’ve been to the top of the pass a few times and am curious about your description to access the traverse. From what I remember there is a powerline trail/rd that climbes up to access some transmission towers/infrastructure up there. Is this the dirt Rd you are talking about?

Hi Chris, that sounds like the right road. Head east from the top of the pass. There could be gates open or closed at either end, so make sure you can head out the way you go in, just in case!
